Our basic service aims to provide you with the peace of mind that your photographs and film are well-preserved and safe from deterioration. Using a non-destructive process, we scan your photos and 35mm film into a digital file. We will return your photos and film in the same condition that we receive them. If shipping a photo album, we will remove your photos with care. Because photos must be removed from the album for scanning, it may not be possible to return the album in original condition. If the album cannot be returned in its original condition, we will contact you before proceeding. If you are in the Kansas City Metro Area, we can arrange pick up and delivery at no additional charge.
We can digitize printed pictures up to medium format pictures, including 8×10 prints. For larger sizes, we can work with clients to identify optimal scanning techniques for their needs. In terms of scan resolutions, our aim is to provide high resolution scans. We can digitize at a resolution of 7728×5152 pixels in a 16 bit raw format (RAF) or a TIFF format at up to 600 dpi in 16 bit color or grayscale.
We can digitize various film formats in color or black and white, including: 35mm film, 35mm slides, 110 / 126 film, 120 / 220 medium format film, 4x5, and 8x10 sheet film.
