Restoration services are tailored to the individual photo, and our pricing reflects the different tiers of restoration. Restoration can be as basic as removing scratches, wrinkles, and dust. We can also change the aspect ratio of the photo at no extra cost and provide basic colorization, if desired. For more customized projects, we work with clients to understand their restoration needs and offer a competitively priced package of services. We can also provide high-quality prints of restored photos.
Pricing varies depending on the type of restoration desired, the amount of time needed for the restoration, and the number of photos to be restored. The prices listed below are a reference and may vary depending on the photo characteristics highlighted above. Our pricing is transparent, so we will not begin any work on your photo(s) until informing you of any potential price variations and then obtaining your consent. Scanning is included in the restoration cost. We offer the following options:
Basic restoration ($29.99/photo): Basic removal of scratches, dust, and wrinkles, as well as basic contrast and decolorization adjustments. The aim of this service is to return the subjects to a recognizable state.
Full restoration ($49.99/photo): This includes more detailed removal of scratches, dust, and wrinkles, as well as more time spent on adjusting contrast and colors. The aim of this service is to deliver a printable photo.
For prints larger than an 8×10, more time is required for restoration. Depending on condition and complexity, this may add $2.00 to $5.00 per print at the basic and full restoration.
For all projects, we aim to return your restored photos in as little as 2 weeks, but no later than 4 weeks.
